What is show jumping?
In show jumping, rider and horse must complete a course with obstacles in the shortest possible time and without knocking any down. Each knocked-down obstacle incurs 4 penalties; a refusal (the horse refuses to jump) incurs 4 penalties; two refusals eliminate the participant.
Types of show jumping competitions
