The weight indicates grams of filling per square meter. General reference:

- 100-150 g — light warmth (autumn/spring, unclipped horse)
- 200-250 g — medium warmth (mild winter, partially clipped horse)
- 300-400 g — maximum warmth (cold winter, fully clipped horse)

How to measure blanket size
Measure from the center of the chest to the end of the hindquarters, following the line of the flank. The result in centimeters is your blanket size. Most European brands use this direct measurement.
