Category Information

How to choose

Grammage

Lightweight blankets are for mid-season; heavier ones are for cold winters. Choose according to climate, clipping, and the horse's condition.

Waterproofing

Outdoor blankets have a technical waterproof layer; stable blankets do not. Using a stable blanket in the pasture when it's raining is counterproductive.

Fit

A well-sized blanket covers from the withers to the tail without rubbing; it's advisable to check rubbing areas daily.

Frequently Asked Questions

What grammage should I choose?

By measuring from the center of the chest to the base of the tail; each brand has its own chart.
