How long do horses live?
The average life expectancy of a domestic horse is between 25 and 30 years. With proper veterinary care, correct nutrition, and attention to common issues (teeth, joints, parasites), it is not uncommon to find horses that reach 35 years of age. Some exceptional cases exceed 40 years.
