How to get the right size

A tall riding boot is not chosen by shoe size alone. Three measurements are needed, and this is exactly what prevents the most returns:

  • Foot length, from toe to heel while standing.
  • Height, from the ground to the hollow behind the knee.
  • Calf circumference, at its widest point.

Measure yourself wearing riding breeches, not jeans or with bare legs: the difference is several centimeters and is the most common reason why a boot won't zip up. Do it in the afternoon, as the foot and calf swell during the day.
