Seaver Safefit airbag vest

With Safefit, you wear an airbag vest without the feeling of wearing one. It is lightweight (less than 600 grams) and does not restrict movement. Made with high-quality elastic materials, it follows your every move without chafing. Its micro-perforated fabric allows for optimal ventilation, so you can wear it in both summer and winter.
It is easy to forget once you are in the saddle and it does not add any extra bulk.
It comes with a CO2 gas cartridge, an activation key, the connection strap, and the lanyard. The latter, attached to the saddle, ensures the connection between the airbag vest and the saddle thanks to the connection strap directly attached to the gas cartridge. In the event of a fall, the gas cartridge disconnects from the vest: it is this mechanism that triggers the inflation of the airbag chamber in just a few milliseconds.
All you have to do is install a new cartridge in no time at all.
Inspired by protective vests designed for motorcycling or skiing, this airbag vest, in the event of a fall, is activated mechanically and ultra-rapidly before impact to protect vital areas of the body, including the abdomen, rib cage, neck, back, and more precisely the spine. This makes you less vulnerable on horseback and gives you the peace of mind needed to excel.
Thanks to its slim fit, it adapts to your riding clothes. In competition, it is discreet under your jacket, while at home, during training, it can be worn over your favorite winter jacket or over a t-shirt in the middle of summer.

IMPORTANT: Under no circumstances should it be worn under a rigid protective vest, as this would prevent the inflatable protection from functioning correctly.

Compatible with SAFERIDE: it can be combined with the Saferide option offered by the Seaver application. If activated on your phone, family and friends will be notified in the event of a fall and will be able to geolocate you to provide assistance. A one-year SAFERIDE subscription is included with every airbag vest order. Along with the product, you will receive an activation code to enter directly into the Seaver mobile application.

How to find the right size

An airbag vest must fit snugly against the body: if it moves around, it neither protects well nor deploys as it should. Measure your chest and waist circumference over the clothing you plan to ride in, as the vest is always worn on the outside.

Never wear it under a rigid protective vest: it would prevent the inflatable protection from working.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need to be recharged after being triggered?

Yes. The CO₂ cartridge is single-use: after each activation, a new one must be installed so that the vest is operational again.

Is it worn over or under clothing?

On top, over a thin layer or over a jacket. Never under a rigid protector.
