The Allweather are your year-round gloves: closed-grain palm for grip on the reins even with wet hands, and a ribbed back that follows the closing of the hand without bunching.

What sets them apart

  • Closed-grain palm, designed so you don't lose your grip in humidity or rain.
  • Ribbed back that follows the movement of your fingers.
  • Wrist closure with engraved metal clip, which secures without squeezing.
  • Inner cuff with branded tape, which prevents the glove from rotating.
  • Fine stitching at the fingertips, so you don't lose feel for the contact.

How to get the right size

Available in 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5. To find your riding glove size, measure the circumference of your palm at the knuckles, excluding the thumb, in centimeters: that number is approximately your size. If you get an intermediate value, go down to the smaller size: a riding glove should fit snugly because it gives a little with use, and a loose glove reduces sensitivity on the rein and causes blisters.

Colors

Available in Black 3, Brown 1, Navy blue. The shades may vary slightly from the photo depending on your screen; if you need to match them with something you already have, write to us and we will compare it in-store before shipping.

What to look for in a riding glove

  • Grip between the fingers and on the palm: this is what prevents the rein from slipping when your hand is sweaty or in the rain.
  • Seams: if you notice the inner seam over the knuckle when closing your hand, it will chafe after half an hour of riding.
  • Wrist closure: it should hold without squeezing. A glove that shifts when you pull the rein is too big.

Care

Wash them by hand with cold water and mild soap, shaping them when hanging them to dry, and let them air dry away from heat sources. Neither machine wash nor tumble dry: heat hardens the palm material and removes its grip.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know my size?

Measure the circumference of your palm at the knuckles with a tape measure, excluding the thumb. That number in centimeters is approximately your size.

Snug or loose?

Snug. The riding glove gives a little with use, and a loose one reduces sensitivity on the rein and causes blisters.

Can they be washed?

By hand, with cold water and mild soap, and air-dried away from heat sources. Never in a washing machine or tumble dryer.
