3 cm mesh slow hay net, ideal for the horse to eat more slowly, avoid overeating, and learn a calm feeding routine. Most get used to it quickly, but some struggle and get stressed; for them, a 4.5 cm mesh or larger is better. Suitable for horses that need to lose weight or eat too quickly.
- 3 cm mesh slow hay net
- Provides a much greater challenge for the horse while eating
- A slow-feed net gives the horse time to learn a new way of eating. Many understand it quickly, but some lack motivation and may become stressed; in that case, a 4.5 cm mesh or larger is better.
- Total weight with dry hay: approx. 2.6 kg
- Knotless, better for the teeth
- Suitable for:
- Horses that need to lose weight
- Horses that eat too quickly
- Less suitable for:
- Coarser forage, as it makes eating difficult
- Horses with head and neck problems (a larger mesh is better)
- For larger forage rations, it is recommended to use it inside a feeder
