The seat is measured in inches, from the base of the gullet to the top edge of the cantle. The higher the number, the more room there is for the rider. This model is made in 17", 17.5", 18".
The other determining factor is the gullet width, which must fit your horse's withers, not you. The manufacturer does not publish an equivalence table, so you won't find one made up here: if you already ride in a saddle that fits you well, the most reliable reference is its seat measurement.
