Freejump's recommendation for this model: if you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one. The Liberty One+ stretches and molds to your foot with use.

In addition to foot size, the shaft is chosen by combining height (from the ground to just below the knee) and calf circumference, at the widest point. Freejump provides the complete correspondence for both measurements on the official sheet that opens from the "Size guide" button on this page. Always measure while wearing the riding boot or the technical sock you intend to use.

Available sizes

Main features

  • Oriented towards horse riding and stable work.
  • Back protector with integrated airbag: eight times more protection than a protector alone, according to Freejump data.

Freejump Liberty One+ tall riding boot, made of full-grain leather with the inside of the leg in grained oiled leather, injected rubber sole compliant with FEI regulations, and Sidas® orthopedic insole.

Materials and construction

  • Full-grain leather on the outside, for durability and finish.
  • Inside of the leg in grained oiled leather, providing better grip with the saddle.
  • Injected rubber sole compliant with FEI regulations thanks to its low heel.
  • Sidas® orthopedic insole, which supports the arch of the foot and distributes pressure evenly to endure hours on horseback.
  • Soft spur rests, allowing for various positions.

Why riders call it a "sneaker"

The Liberty One+ is the boot that riders describe as a sneaker. The long zipper on the front of the shaft, plus a second shorter one on the back of the calf, allows for easy entry without sacrificing a precise fit. The rear gusset makes it easier for the shaft to take shape and allows for decompressing the leg between sessions. The magnetic closure tab is comfortable and adds a design detail.

Size guide

Freejump sizes the X'Air Safe based on four body measurements (chest, waist, height to the shoulder, and distance from waist to shoulder). This is their official chart:

Care and maintenance

Always consult the manufacturer's care instructions. If the product contains leather or technical materials, clean it with appropriate products and let it air dry.

How to get the size right

A tall riding boot is not chosen only by foot size. Three measurements are needed, and this is exactly what prevents the most returns:

  • Foot length, from toe to heel and foot.
  • Height, from the floor to the hollow behind the knee.
  • Calf circumference, at its widest point.

Measure yourself wearing your riding breeches, not jeans or with a bare leg: the difference is several centimeters and is the most common cause of a boot not closing. Do it in the afternoon, as the foot and calf swell during the day.

Sizes for this model: 41 S, 42 MS, 40 LT, 41 L, 38 L.

Several brands manufacture the same model in different shaft widths as separate references. If the calf circumference is tight, look for the wide version before going up a foot size.

The leather gives a little in circumference with use and the shaft drops a few millimeters when the ankle creases form, but the foot length does not give: do not compensate for a short size hoping it will stretch. If in doubt between two, choose the larger one.
