How to get the right size

A tall riding boot is not chosen by shoe size alone. Three measurements are required, and this is exactly what prevents the most returns:

  • Foot length, from toe to heel while standing.
  • Height, from the ground to the hollow behind the knee.
  • Calf circumference, at its widest point.

Measure yourself while wearing riding breeches, not jeans or bare legs: the difference is several centimeters and is the most common reason why a boot won't zip up. Do it in the afternoon, as your feet and calves swell during the day.

Sizes for this model: 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42.

Several brands manufacture the same model in different shaft widths as separate references. If the calf circumference is tight, look for the wide version before sizing up your shoe size.

Leather gives slightly in circumference with use and the shaft drops a few millimeters as the ankle creases form, but it does not stretch in foot length: do not compensate for a short size hoping it will stretch. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Elegant riding boot, made of flexible, high-quality leather. The decorative line on the shaft gives it a distinguished look. The diagonal zipper placement provides more comfort and a longer lifespan. The flexible leather, elastic lacing, and elastic insert at the back make it very comfortable.

Care

Remove mud as soon as you finish riding, before it dries. Clean with a damp cloth and, from time to time, apply a specific leather moisturizing product.

Let them air dry, away from radiators and direct sunlight, and store them upright with boot trees or shapers so the shaft does not collapse.

Frequently asked questions

Why do riding boots have a heel?

It is a safety measure: it prevents the foot from sliding through the stirrup.

Do they stretch?

Leather gives slightly in calf circumference with use and the shaft drops a few millimeters when the ankle creases form. They do not give in foot length, so do not compensate for a short size hoping they will stretch.

Which size should I choose if I am between two?

In general, the larger one: a boot that is tight on the foot will not improve with use. If the problem is the calf circumference, check if the model is available in a wide version.
