How to find the right size

A tall riding boot is not chosen by shoe size alone. Three measurements are needed, and this is exactly what prevents the most returns:

  • Foot length, from toe to heel and while standing.
  • Height, from the floor to the hollow behind the knee.
  • Calf circumference, at its widest point.

Measure yourself while wearing riding breeches, not jeans or bare legs: the difference is several centimeters and is the most common reason why a boot won't close. Do it in the afternoon, as the foot and calf swell during the day.

Sizes for this model: 30 - KSW, 30 - KLT, 30 - KLS, 31 - KSW, 31 - KLT, 31 - KLS, 32 - KSW, 32- KLT, 32 - KLS, 33 - KSW, 33 - KLT, 33 - KLS, 34 - KSW, 34 - KLT, 34 - KLS, 35 - KSW, 35 - KLT, 35 - KLS, 36 - KSW, 36 - KLT, 36 - KLS, 37 - KSW, 37 - KLT, 37 - KLS, 38 - KSW, 38 - KLT, 38 - KLS, 39 - KSW, 39 - KLT, 39 - KLS.

Several brands manufacture the same model in different shaft widths as separate references. If the calf circumference feels tight, look for the wide version before going up a shoe size.

Leather gives slightly in circumference with use and the shaft drops a few millimeters as creases form at the ankle, but it does not give in foot length: do not compensate for a short size hoping it will stretch. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
