The Shyv is the most eye-catching: a wide strip of rhinestones crossing the center. It is the one seen in competition photos from a distance and the one chosen when the event is important.

What sets it apart

  • Wide strip of rhinestones in the center, from side to side.
  • Satin fabric with a nice drape, pointed finish with trim.
  • Adjustable neck closure.
  • Available in black and white.

When to wear a stock tie

The stock tie is part of the competition uniform in dressage and, depending on the level and event, also in show jumping and eventing. The general rule is a white stock tie for official competition; colors are reserved for training, exhibitions, and club events. Always check your federation's current regulations before the event.

Colors

Available in Black, White. Shades may vary slightly from the photo depending on your screen; if you need to match it with something you already have, write to us and we will compare it in the store before shipping.

How to put it on

  • Place it over your competition shirt, with the shirt collar tucked inside so no fabric shows underneath.
  • It should be centered and flat: if it opens into a "V" while riding, the back closure is too loose.
  • Always keep a spare in your competition bag. It is the garment most easily stained before entering the arena.

Care

Hand wash with cold water and mild soap, and air dry flat so it doesn't lose its drape. The embellishments should not go in the washing machine or dryer. Iron on the reverse side at a low temperature.
