How to find your size
Wrap a soft measuring tape around your head, above your ears and across the widest part of your skull. The measurement in centimeters is what matters, not your usual hat size.

A helmet should fit firmly without pressing: it should not move when you tilt your head down or turn when you shake your head. If you are between two sizes, the rear adjustment dial or system provides leeway within each one.

When should a helmet be replaced?
After any strong impact, even if nothing is visible on the outside: the shock-absorbing material works by deforming and will no longer provide the same level of protection. Over the years, it also loses absorption capacity even if it has never been dropped.

The inner padding is usually removable: wash it by hand with warm water and mild soap and air dry. The shell should only be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never use solvents or a washing machine, and never dry in direct sunlight or with heat.
