How to choose the right size
Wrap a soft measuring tape around your head, above the ears and across the widest part of the skull. The measurement in centimeters is what matters, not your usual hat size.

A helmet should fit firmly without pressing: it should not move when you tilt your head down or turn when you shake it from side to side. If you are between two sizes, the rear dial or adjustment system provides a margin within each one.

After any hard impact, even if nothing is visible on the outside: the cushioning material works by deforming and will no longer protect the same way. Over time, it also loses its shock-absorption capacity, even if it has never been dropped.

The inner padding is usually removable: wash by hand with warm water and mild soap and air dry. Clean the shell only with a damp cloth. Never use solvents or a washing machine, and never dry in direct sunlight or with heat.
